Shipping Information

Shipping & handling charges are automatically added to the total amount of the order based on weight and cost.   If you qualify for Free Shipping please check the correct box at checkout.  Sales tax (Wisconsin orders only) is added to the total after discounts.  Please allow 1-2 days (excluding holidays and weekends) for your order to be processed.  If there is a delay with your order we will keep you posted.  When your order is shipped the shipping and tracking information is emailed to the address you provided.  It generally takes 2-4 days for an order to arrive via our choice of shipping methods – UPS, Fedex, and USPS.   Tracking info and BOLs are provided for Freight orders, which may take longer depending upon your location.

If you want an Expedited Order,  please call 608-523-4709 or email sales@thegarageproject.com to get a shipping quote.  HandiWall Panels cannot be expedited due to carrier damage.  Shipping is by our choice of carriers.  If you have a shipper preference or service, please email sales@thegarageproject.com.

International Customers

It is no longer feasible to try and figure in International shipping costs. International Customers may call 608-523-4709 or email sales@thegarageproject.com to see if the items you want can ship to your country and to get a shipping quote.  International customers may find that when their order is delivered by carrier they are required to pay an extra customs fee or duty fees. The shipping charge from The Garage Project Online only covers our part in getting your package(s) to your destination.  We cannot be responsible for International Customs Fees, Taxes, Import Fees, or Duties.

Return Policy

GUARANTEE: We want you to be 100% satisfied with your order, so we offer a 100% money back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied with one of our products for any reason, just send it back to us in the same condition it was sent to you and we will accommodate your request for a refund.

Returns must have prior approval, which can be obtained by emailing sales@thegarageproject.com.  

Items must be returned within 21 days of receipt of delivery and will be credited at the original item sale amount. Items returned after 21 days will be credited at original item sale amount less a 40% restocking fee.  Shipping charges are not refundable.  Any shipping costs paid by The Garage Project (ex. items shipped “free” or no-charge) on the returned items will also be deducted from the overall credit.

If the return is due to an error on our part, we’ll refund 100% of the sales price and shipping costs.

The items being returned must:
● be in their original packaging.
● have all original factory documentation, parts, hardware, etc. enclosed.
● not be used, installed, altered or disassembled in any manner.
● be received in the same minimum order quantity as shipped. If you order (1) of something which contains a quantity of (6) (hooks for example), we cannot accept a partial return.
Please ship the item to us, shipping pre-paid and insured. We will not be responsible for packages returned to us that are lost and were not shipped insured.

Once your item is received, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the above criteria. When complete (typically within 48 hours), we will process your refund per the same payment method your order was processed with.  If your item does not meet the above criteria, we’ll notify you immediately of this issue and begin to work on a mutually acceptable resolution.

Any damaged items must be reported to us within 24 hours in order for us to file a claim with the carrier.   Please save packaging and take pictures if possible to help us file the claim.    If an item is delivered by LTL Freight, please note the condition of the item(s) – you have the right to refuse delivery.  If you sign for a damaged delivery anyway, please have the driver notate all damage on the proof of delivery form.  Again, please save packaging and take pictures.
